Volcanavi ("the Service") provides aggregated data, visualizations, and AI-generated informational content related to volcanic activity in Japan for informational and educational purposes only. The Service is not a substitute for official warnings or safety advisories.
2. Accounts and Subscriptions
- Account Creation: When you create an account with us, you must provide information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of your account on our Service.
- Account Security: You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access the Service and for any activities or actions under your password.
- Subscriptions: Some parts of the Service are billed on a subscription basis. You will be billed in advance on a recurring and periodic basis ("Billing Cycle"). All payment processing is handled by our third-party payment processor, Stripe. We do not store or have access to your credit card details.

Volcanavi and its owners, operators, and affiliates cannot be held liable for any disparity, inaccuracy, or inadequacy in the information.
- AI-Generated Content: Portions of our content (such as geological profiles, hiking route suggestions, and amenity details) are generated by artificial intelligence. This content is for informational purposes and may contain inaccuracies, hallucinations, or fabrications. It should not be considered authoritative or a substitute for professional advice.
- Primary Source Verification: For any decisions regarding personal safety, travel, evacuation, or health, you MUST consult official, primary sources such as the Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA), your local authorities, and qualified travel/safety professionals.
